          Considered one of the world’s greatest Bandoneon players ever by legendary Argentinian Tango composer Astor Piazzolla, Maestro Raul Jaurena passed away due to Covid-19 complications at the age of 79.  He was always a very healthy man with a lot of vitality and in top physical shape, so this sudden outcome in just 4 weeks due to that terrible virus has plunged all his family, friends and international audiences in great pain and sadness for his great lost.  It seems so incredible that it is as if this first-class Bandoneon Master and creator had gone on a Tango Tour to Eternity, joining the Stars Orchestra to shine light and inspire future generations.

          The Tango world is in mourning for Maestro Jaurena, one of the foremost Uruguayan musicians.  Performing with Astor Piazzolla at the Montreal Jazz Festival inspired his musical&
