Hussein, Saddam (1937–2006)
President of Iraq from 1979 to 2003, Saddam Hussein (Abd) al-Majid al-Tikriti (known in the Arab world and elsewhere simply as Saddam Hussein, or just Saddam) ruled that country with an iron fist.
