          6. His mother, Patty Duke, was an actress known for winning an Oscar and a Golden Globe. For a while, his father was believed to be showman Desi Arnaz Jr., but a genetic test revealed that his biological father was actually Patty's husband, writer and journalist Michael Tell.

          Since neither man was involved in raising Sean, his mother's second and third husbands, actor John Austin and Army sergeant Michael Pearce, became the closest people to him in his childhood.
