          Early Life and Family

          Johnny Galecki is an American actor best known for his roles as Leonard Hofstadter in the comedy series "The Big Bang Theory," David Healy in the comedy series "Roseanne," and Rusty Griswold in "National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation." He was born in Bree, Belgium to American parents of Polish-Italian-Irish descent.

          His family returned to the United States when he was three years old, and he grew up in Oak Park, Illinois. Johnny has a younger brother named Nick, who currently works in the automotive industry, and a younger sister named Allison.

          Early Career

          Johnny Galecki made his television debut in 1987 in the CBS miniseries "Murder Ordained." He appeared alongside JoBeth Williams and his future "Roseanne"
